Gourmet Tour : Gastronomical day & Culture

TRADITION AND MODERNITY REFINEMENT AND SIMPLICITY ARE THE WORDS OF OUR FARM.

Our farm is placed on a site privileged between the valley of the Dordogne and the valley of Isle, country of “Jacquou Le Croquant”.

Program of the day:

10H30 | Visit of a castle:
- the castle of Lanquais, or
- the castle of Monbazillac, or
- the castle of Montreal, or
- a visit of the distilling house “Clovis Reymond”

11H30 | the farm of Biorne:
Guided tour of “La ferme de Biorne”.
Visit of the breeding with demonstration of cramming (with your request) and visits our canning facility which is to standards the EEC.
You will be able to admire there the “peyrols”, old pots out of cast iron in which we make mijoter our crystallized and rillettes according to traditional receipts' of the soil.

For the the children, but also for adults, you may also discover all the animals of the farm.
Our animalist park counts a score of species which will delight your eyes. Some of them, in the process of disappearance, are peaceful and affectionate and are awaiting your caresses….

12H30 | Périgourdin Meal:
Lunch with our farm inn where you will taste marvellous Périgourdines specialities.

15H30 | Wine storehouse and tasting:
Visit of a wine storehouse with wine tasting. We will be able to guide you in your choice: Monbazillac, Pécharmant, Bergerac, Saussignac.
